Round headdress inspired by the CARAJÀ tribe of Northern Amazonia. Unique creation By David G. Yellow and blue macaw feathers, chloropteran macaw, yellow-collared macaw, hybrid harlequin macaw, blue-fronted amazon, Alexander parakeet, blue peacock, guinea fowl, Chinese dwarf rooster, turtledove, quail. Green jadeite, orange jade, Guatemalan jade, eucalyptus seeds. Dimensions with frame: 1.76 x 1.65 m. All feathers were collected during the moulting period of each bird. The circular arrangement of arrows represents the sun and light radiating from nature. The white color is a tribute to the moon. The fine stones in the center of the headdress represent wealth and invoke an offering to the gods of light.
