Opaque pigments on textile, the tirthankara standing with a checkerboard pattern on his chest and legs, one with rows of figures on his chest and legs , the Jambudvipa at his waist. (Stains). 65 x 53 cm each The Lokapurushas depict the correlation between man and the universe, linking the cosmos to the proportions of the human figure divided into three parts (from below the navel to the feet, waist and torso, neck and head). The heavens and the underworld are subdivided into several levels represented by multicolored squares to indicate where the various deities, demons, animals and humans live.
