Turkey, Second half of the 19th century

In finely chased silver, the interior is decorated with seven different registers. Numerous animals are represented: caprids, peacock, dromedary, buffalo, elephant. A long frieze in "thuluth" script is framed by scrolls. Tugra (probably Abdulhamid II), sah and chechneh. Silver 800 thousandths. B.P. 215 gr. H. 5.5 x 16 cm.
