KAYAPÓ INDIAN TIARA, BRAZIL

Kamayura tribe. Mounted on a braided cotton spinneret, adorned with blunt crested cassia feathers, the center adorned with three large rectal chloropteran macaw feathers. Height: 90 cm, width: 59 cm. Very fine condition, splendid colors, unframed. Psarocolius decumanus, II/B, Chloroptera macaw. Collected between 1954 and 1977. Pre-convention specimens exempt from any prohibition on sale. Provenance Marcel Isy-Schwart Collection (1917 - 2012), kept by the family.
