Presented plinth-mounted. Beautiful antique patina. Total height: 1.69 m. Dimension of skull with teeth: 1.22 cm, width of skull: 36 cm. Length of teeth (visible parts): 70 and 73 cm. Total length: 94 and 95 cm. II/B, Monodon monoceros. Greenland/Denmark. Specimen collected in the 1960s prior to any protection measures. Authorized for sale by the Danish Ministry of the Environment. Private collection. Note Only males have a single twisted "horn" from the upper left incisor. 1 in 500 males has two tusks. The right incisor of our specimen has developed.
