Turkey, signed Vehbi, 19th century

Four lines of text, written diagonally, in ta'liq in black ink, on an ecru background, with spandrels decorated with polychrome and gilded floral palmettes on a blue background. Mounted on an album page illuminated with gilded arcatures embellished with polychrome floral arabesques on a blue background. Signed "Vehbi" in a half-moon lower left.
