Two Hispano-Moorish dishes with heraldic motif

Spain, Manises, 18th century

One is circular with an umbilicus, the wing molded with blue-painted leaves, the other with ribs and dots, in earthenware painted with copper lustre and cobalt blue. The umbilicus of the former features a heraldic coat of arms, while the latter features a motif of capital letters. The reverse features concentric circles and palmettes for one (grip hole, chips and chips). D. 36 and 40 cm.
