Syria, circa 1920

Mosque lamp and small glass basin enameled with calligraphic inscriptions. An enameled copper bowl, also with epigraphic decoration, completes the lot. Dim.: 22 cm and 5 x 12 cm A Syrian basin circa 1930 enameled in polychrome with an inscription and two dervish kashkuls. Iran, 20th century. Half-moon-shaped in metal alloy, embossed with a solar lion on a background of animal interlacing. Dimentions: H. 13 cm and 13 x 35 cm. Provenance : Jean-Charles Tauzin Collection (1889-1957)
