CIBOURE & Richard LE CORRONE (1909 - 1977)
Grand vase ovoïde en céramique de forme balustre à décor aux émaux mats polychrome de quatre scènes de tauromachie.
Sur une face notamment une représentation de la rejoneadora péruvienne Consuelo Cintrón Verril - dite "Conchita Cintrón" - sans doute dans le troisième tercio d'une corrida puisqu'elle est descendue de cheval pour porter l'estocade au taureau.
Signé "R Le Corrone" et cachet "Ciboure" sous la base.

Amazing mat enamelled of four bullfighting scenes.
On one, notably, a figuration of the Peruvian rejoneadora Consuelo Cintrón Verril - say "Conchita Cintrón" - perhaps in the third tercio of a bullfight as she got down of her horse to give the ultimate blow to the bull.
Signed "R Le Corrone" and stamped "Ciboure" under the base.
